Description: A spatial database of scan zoning maps for every year zoning maps were approved by the County Council. Currently the geodatabase contains the maps from 1945 (the frst year they where approved) through 1980 and from 2000 through 2012. The County now approves new zoning maps every 4 years. Description: The Baltimore County Growth Tiers designate where major subdivisions on septic can or cannot be built. These areas were developed using a variey of data, including the URDL, Sewer Master Plan, Land Mgnt Areas, Rural Legacy Areas, Permanent Easements, Ag/Forested Land (from MDP), and MD's "Greenprint."

Description: This is the source data in the form of a personal geodatabase for the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map as provided by FEMA for the FIRM effective August 2, 2011. Layers were renamed for ease of use; please refer to the metadata for the exact original feature class names (rt click on feature class layer, Data -> View Item Description). All but two FIRM panels have effective date 9/26/2008. The two exceptions are panels 220 and 245 both having effective dates 8/2/2011. See attribute table for layer FIRM Panel. This group layer replaces the previous DataQuery layer which was based on the Preliminary DFIRM of 8/25/2006. We couldn't use the 9/26/2008 DFIRM since it omitted panels 220 and 245 and therefore did not provide County-wide coverage.
